What a fantastic spot! Delicious food, tried the turkey club (fully vegan!), chips and guac, and their berry lemonade (might be getting the name wrong) but all was so good. Great service. We had a little one with us and they were sweet to her. Clean! Indoor and outdoor seating. Great lunch spot, looking forward to try their breakfast.

Number one go to spot in somerville, truly. My family and I eat here at least 3 times a week and i wish I was joking. It’s just too good. The owners do such a great job creating a family friendly atmosphere from the service to the little section at the front of the restaurant with the little toys to keep the kids entertained. The new menu is amazing and makes it much MUCH easier to pick something. I really love how they still make it an option to make your own custom bowl or burger! Always keep an eye out for their specials because they constantly come up with delicious goodies. We also really look forward to the live performances they have often, sets a really nice vibe during brunch It’s really upsetting to see some of the negative reviews under this location. I feel like they’re doing a great job and catering to everyone’s needs and i know from personal experience that if there is an issue it is so easy to reach out to one of them to have a simple convo! Prices are super duper fair for the quality of food so i’m not sure what all the jazz is about that. If it doesn’t fit your budget then it’s as easy as driving down the road to mcdonald’s and paying for the bottom of the barrel frozen scrap meat just so that you can save 3 bucks. I’m all for supporting small businesses though.

We went out to Turf Surf & Earth a while ago and our experience was pleasant! Ordering was super quick and easy, they have the tablets right on the counter that you can order on. You can see right into the kitchen as you order, and you can also work with the staff if you'd prefer talking over order on the tablet. Food was a little pricey but the portions were fairly sized and the quality of the food was good. Additionally, I appreciated their variety of drinks that they offered as well as their specialty drinks. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I was happy to visit - and probably will again.

Sometimes it's hard to know what to eat when one person wants vegan while the other does not. Thankfully, McKenzie and her husband, the owners of Turf Surf and Earth, faced a similar problem. McKenzie took the time to chat and explained that she was vegan, but her husband was a vegetarian. Thus, when going out, it was hard, and when going out to eat, that shouldn't be the case. We go out to enjoy ourselves, not debate and get frustrated. This sparked an idea, and they saw that there is a solution. Open an eatery that offers food that's vegan-friendly, some other dishes for vegetarians, and some dishes for meat lovers. This way, everyone is happy! As people who are flexitarians, we are thrilled. While I lean towards vegetarian, it also depends on my body and what it wants. Their offerings from breakfast dishes to lighter snacks are a feast for the eyes. Let's see how they taste. After perusing their menu, I decided on The Cuban. It is a vegetarian sandwich that consists of mushrooms, plant-based bacon, and Swiss cheese, served with pickles on a roll. I also had to have my onion rings. The portions are huge and big enough to share! Now for the moment of truth... o.m.g. it was heaven on a tray!!! As I feasted on my tray of deliciousness, I was sitting in a beautiful place filled with beautiful and healthy plants. Breathing all the wonderful oxygen the plants are giving off, I am in a state of euphoria. For a quick bite, this is THE place to come to, and I will be revisiting to try more of their menu. I spied "Grandma's Oyster Mushroom Po' Boy" and it has my name written all over it.

We ate here 4 times last week during my finals. Great clean vegan food. Breakfast is my favorite. Traditional and vegan options. Great for people who need dairy free, gluten free or vegan options. Excellent service. High quality ingredients. You can order on a touch screen there or with a friendly person. Indoor and outdoor seating. Super clean environment with pretty plants from Spotted leaf next door. This is real food you can identify. I think the prices are really fair for the freshness and experience. Greasy Fast food meals cost more.

The food is absolutely amazing, finally a great place for everyone whether you are an omnivore, carnivore or a herbivore. I’m glad they aren’t exclusively catering to one set of food eaters. There’s plenty of options for everyone. Loved their vegan po boy, great textural elements and mouthfeel to the sandwich, only negative would be it needed more of the sauce, so just get some extra sauce on the side. Next thing that amazed me was their Spanish rice, it was so flavorful and was perfectly cooked. Next I’m just going to get Spanish rice on its own like 3 orders and try all of their sauces. Never been to their breakfast and brunch should definitely venture out on that.

This review is long overdue!! Not our first time here, simply delicious with fresh ingredients!! We went there after finding out the restaurant had been featured on DDD and so glad we did. We frequent it more often than we should now. The food is delicious, the staff super friendly, and the place is super clean and great atmosphere. When you enter you can order with a person or on the touchscreens. They have many flavor choices that can go with chicken, salmon, tilapia, burger or vegan options. I’ve tasted about three options and all have been yummy thus far. Then you sit and wait for your food to be brought to you. They also have specialty drinks, which we’ve tasted. So well made. I’m adding pictures of the restaurant and one food item. I forget to take photos because when you get your food you just want to devour it. Their salmon is just made perfectly. The hummus platter yummy . Overall a great place to eat. It can get pricey but is well worth it. Will return to try brunch served on Saturdays. Hopefully I’ll remember to take food pictures and will update then. Definitely give this place a try!
